Billy’s Journey
Billy is part of the Tender Loving Care community, and his journey is a powerful reminder of how far encouragement, consistency, and the right support can go. In the early days, Billy was reserved. But with patience, trust, and a team that genuinely believes in him, he’s grown into a young man who navigates his world with increasing independence and pride.

Brewing More Than Coffee
Step into Frapp & Capp, our social enterprise café, and you’ll quickly see it’s more than just a place to grab a drink. For many of our participants, it’s a space to learn, connect, and gain real-world experience. Through our Employment Pathways program, participants take on hands-on roles in the café — learning customer service, cash handling, food preparation, and teamwork.
The best part? It’s a genuine workplace. Customers are greeted with warm smiles and high-quality service, and our participants take great pride in their work. The café is a space where skills are developed, but more importantly, where confidence is brewed every day.
We’ve seen firsthand how these opportunities lead to greater independence. Some participants go on to find employment in the wider community, while others discover strengths they never knew they had. All of them, in their own way, take meaningful steps forward.
